AI as your personal assistant
A morning plan, priorities, decisions, quick drafts. AI can be a personal assistant that gives you back an hour a day - you just have to ask it right.
What to use it for
- "Plan my day from this task list and estimate the time."
- "Rank these by priority and tell me what to postpone."
- "Break down the pros and cons of this decision."
- "Prepare talking points for a meeting with [who] about [what]."
How to do it
Give it context about your day and your role and talk to it like a real assistant - follow up, clarify. The more it knows, the more useful it is.
A few routines worth having
A morning plan for the day, prep for a meeting, an evening "what I did and what is next" summary, or a quick "choose between X and Y and explain why".
What to watch out for
The decisions and the responsibility stay with you - treat it as an adviser, not a boss. And do not feed it sensitive personal matters (see the basics course on privacy).
The best assistant is not one that decides for you. It is one that lays the groundwork so you can decide fast and well.
