A small automation from idea to running

We put it all together: take one annoying routine and turn it step by step into a running automation. A small capstone where you use everything you have learned.

Pick a routine

One that repeats, has clear rules and needs no judgement: processing an enquiry, a regular report, forwarding and record-keeping.

Break it into steps

Trigger (what sets it off) → what should happen → where it goes. If you can describe it on paper, you can build it.

Build it in n8n

Take a template, adjust the nodes, test it on a few runs (see automation course). Wherever something has to be decided or written, add an AI node.

Launch it and watch it

Check the automation for a few days, tweak the small stuff, then let it run. From then on it works for you.

What to watch out for

Start small and have a fallback (what happens when something fails). An unwatched automation can make a mess early on.

You do not have to automate the whole company. One routine less will do - then another. That is how a few boxes turn into a business that runs itself.

Want your routine turned into a finished automation?

I will build a working automation to fit and hand it over. Tell me what keeps repeating at your place.
